My previous philosophy!
SO, when it comes to writing philosophy, mine is not so easily pointed out or even found. I've spent my writing years following rules, following my teacher's philosophy. But there are certain aspects that i have been trained to portray . Vocabulary is very important of course, along with being factual. But i believe if thats all you have then you sound like any other essay. Having those hooks, having that sling of words that flow and ring those are more than just important. Connecting with more then the mind and pocket books is important to me. I believe examining every aspect and branch of the topic, every different view and paying a good amount of attention to all opinions and sides are must haves in writing . Thats how I have wrote in the past, have been forced to write. I covered the basics, but with what we have explored in the last couple days of class. I will most definently, better develop my philosophy. Make it more of heart, more of me. Now i believe that writing should be similar to an encryption of the soul. A true mind exploration and i am gonna try to better communicate that in my future writing pieces.
I believe how my philosophy has changed thus far is that its become way more developed. What i mean by that is that its actually more than just what every high school student is writing. I've learned the process, that hard work is always the best and overall knowledge is better then just the topic your searching and this is what i wrote in class earlier today during the free write:
Through this long tedious writing process, i have learned a goof amount. Infact such a large amount that even thinking of it all together as a whole, causes mass confusion. My process has been turned inside out , flipped, somersaulted every contorted acrobatic movement you can think of to get where it is now. My mind set and philosophy use to be a logical one. One given to me by my teachers of thoughtless writing consumed with fats pointless to the readers. I have learned what writing really is about, well I'm on my way there and it gives me a great relief to know my writing deserves a voices and stated purpose. My writing process no incorporates more than just the facts, it includes the thoughts, that analysis and relevant purpose and more importantly me. I realize how to write an essay on a topic you need to know mush mush more than just the topic itself.
Finally, for once in my education writing about history has become more than just the history and its facts. I've realized that history most has a biased view and its now something I'M aloud to have on opinion about as well. A real, true heart felt opinion, not one I've heard that i help elaborate on.
