QUOTE ONE: to me in general both these quotes were blunter then quotes I would expect to elaborate on. They lacked metaphorical terms or any other writing terms that would be to cover what is meant to be seen. To me they seemed blunt, facts, but I could have been missing something all together but by what we shared in class I was along the same lines as the other students. Once you get past the lay out of the quotes and over the difference shock because were not use to this type of reading, the quote was wide open. I believe the first quote was referring to how our bodies become political property, we grow and work to support our economy, we have opinions on our cities, states, country and these issues, the more major one, are handled on political levels which means we support and watch. The political system is what we follow, the laws and such, it’s our guidelines. They own us as soon as we have a mind of our own; we are pushed into the political world, ruled by it, consumed in it.
QUOTE TWO: This one was more obvious to me then the first. Maybe because it is a topic that I’m more involved with or something that is in my, and everyone’s day to day lives. It’s saying that a body, a person will truly, fully exert themselves unless under pressure. When given a goal you know how far you have to go, how much time so there for how much effort you must put in , in order to get where you want to be. On the other hand if it’s a goal stretched out so long you don’t know the end, you will slack, well at least most will. I for sure would. If some one told you, you have to get to this destination, say an appointment, but they didn’t tell you when you had to be there, chances are you’d take your time and obviously miss your appointment. You would do what you have to do to get there. A body is successful and truly pushes its self when it is forced, forced in all aspects in a reasoning that is not just some one telling you to do so. Forced in the terms by the consequences are negative and it’s truly what you have to do.
quote three: What i took form the quote was honestly something which was way different from everyone else. For me i couldnt help but connecting the condemmed man to the king. As i dug deeper and tried to find what my mind was getting out it brought me to more the soul out look on things. On earth those who are condemmed on earth are the subjected the condemmed man. But emotionaly, the king the rulers those are the ones who emotionally will continuely being fighting with themselve forced to be condemmed from life on even onto the after life where the king would be the one ot go to hell and the condemmed usually not. One really good view that was brought up in class was that power can corrupt a man, referring to the king, there for the corruption of the man makes him the condemmed man.
